About The Position

As a data engineer, you know that organizing data can yield pivotal insights when it’s gathered from disparate sources. We need a data professional like you to help our clients find answers in their data to impact important missions from fraud detection to cancer research to national intelligence. As a data engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your skills to deliver an advanced visual application to include developing data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software. You'll facilitate the bulk analysis of relational information utilizing advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing, as well as using the specified open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies. You will establish an application that produces manageable, actionable intelligence from streams of a structured and semi-structured data technology solutions for some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. Requirements

8+ years of experience working with Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and JFrog Artifactory, supporting cloud‑native engineering and automated delivery pipelines
4+ years of experience programming in AWS Cloud Solutions, Python, C#, or Java and developing production‑grade application components and services
Experience with full‑stack engineering across UI, backend, middleware, and ETL pipelines, including integration with relational and search databases such as MySQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch, or OpenSearch
Experience with API engineering with RabbitMQ or Kafka messaging, Redis, and Valkey caching for distributed workflows
Experience with complex data parsing, ingestion, normalization, and end‑to‑end lineage tracking for structured and unstructured data
Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
Knowledge of integration of reasoning components, retrieval systems, AI, and GenAI services into mission‑focused applications
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in technical management or program management, Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in technical management or program management, or 12+ years of experience in technical management or program management in lieu of a degree

Experience with .NET C#, Node.js, FastAPI, Elixi, Phoenix LiveView, or Django
Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue.js, Svelte, Django, or Flask‑based front‑ends
