Full Stack Engineer (React Native/Java)
About The Position
We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer (React Native/Java) to join our team remotely! This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining customer-facing web and mobile applications using React and React Native. The engineer will build modern, responsive user interfaces, develop and consume REST APIs, and contribute to backend services using Java. Collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers is key, as is participation in architecture discussions and influencing technical direction. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting, optimizing, and enhancing application performance, working in an Agile environment with a focus on engineering ownership, and delivering new digital banking capabilities as part of a large-scale modernization effort.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of Java development experience.
- 5+ years of React development experience and React Native experience building mobile applications.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Experience building and supporting customer-facing applications.
- Strong understanding of modern web and mobile development patterns.
- Ability to work across both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
