As a Full Stack Developer II you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success, by leveraging your analytical and cloud engineering skills to solve complex problems for the CMD business. You’ll join a dedicated, self-organizing, cross-functional team in developing our next generation systems in the AWS cloud.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years’ experience in software development, architecture and/or cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience implementing data integration and API services with AWS cloud technologies.
• Strong foundation with modern SDLC in various technologies (AWS Services, RDBMS, NOSQL, Python, C#, .Net Core, Windows/Linux)
• Good working knowledge for a variety of automation, integration and business process management solutions.
• Experience being part of a fast paced agile software development team
• Desire and ability to train, mentor, and develop technical skills of more junior engineers.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Financial Services and Annuities or Insurance products

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business problems, clarify requirements, and evaluate technology feasibility.
• Assist in the overall scope definition, workflow design and facilitation of technology development.
• Develop solutions to solve complex problems for the business.
• Work with Product Owner to refine backlog, prioritize use cases and drive team understanding
• Work closely across business and technology teams to assist with integration design, development, testing & implementation
• Collaborating with architects and engineers to formulate innovative automation engineering solutions
• Mine large and complex datasets for insights and conversion to new product features
• Executing a project from scratch to production while collaboratively across teams.
• Communicate complex concepts and results in a clear and effective manner.
