About The Position

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer II to design and build scalable, enterprise-grade applications using Java, API-first architecture, and GenAI-powered development practices. This role focuses on building high-performance backend services and modern frontend integrations while leveraging AI tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.

Requirements

Java (Spring / Spring Boot)
REST APIs & GraphQL
GenAI / AI-assisted development tools
Big Data & NoSQL
CI/CD (Jenkins, Docker, GitHub Actions)
Apache Kafka / event-driven architecture
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group

Nice To Haves

Experience with React, Angular, or similar frontend frameworks
Familiarity with reactive programming (Vert.x or similar)
Experience in microservices and distributed systems
Exposure to enterprise-scale environments
Prior American Express experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Build and maintain full stack applications (backend + frontend) using Java and modern frameworks
Develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL services for enterprise-scale systems
Design API-first, microservices-based architectures
Work with large-scale datasets and Big Data querying techniques
Leverage GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development and improve productivity
Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
Develop reusable, modular components aligned with enterprise standards
Ensure performance, scalability, and security across applications
Collaborate with product, architecture, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions
