About The Position

eClerx is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our Application Development team's technical implementation for enterprise software and its blockchain and digital-asset infrastructure. As a Software Engineer, you'll own and deliver features end to end. You must have a strong technical foundation in full-stack engineering, including hands-on experience integrating blockchain and Web3 technologies into enterprise systems, along with a passion for scalable and secure design.

Requirements

  • BS or BA in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience, with strong backend expertise in one or more languages (e.g., Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, Go)
  • Hands-on experience building on blockchain/DLT platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Hyperledger Besu, or Canton/Daml), including transaction lifecycle (gas, nonce, confirmations, finality) and event processing
  • Experience with frontend frameworks (React/Angular) using TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization
  • Proficiency with REST APIs, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical delivery of features and projects from design through deployment, ensuring quality, performance, and scalability
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews
  • Adhere to coding standards, architectural principles, and security best practices
  • Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate client needs into high-impact solutions
  • Build test automation across the full stack of our software and follow engineering best practices
  • Optimize application performance and reliability in a cloud environment
  • Implement blockchain integrations, node connectivity, transaction submission, event monitoring, wallet/custody interactions, and signing/approval workflows, using enterprise-grade backend and Web3 libraries
  • Write, test, and deploy smart contracts (Solidity or equivalent) following established security practices, handle full transaction lifecycle, submission, confirmation, idempotency, and failure/reversal handling, with audit-friendly logging
  • Partner with Product Managers and Technical Project Managers to understand scope, timelines, and priorities.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders
