Requirements

5+ years of professional software development experience.
3+ years of hands-on front-end or mobile development.
Demonstrated use of AI tools to increase engineering throughput and reduce repetitive work.
Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React.js, React Native, Next.js, or similar).
Full-stack experience with back-end APIs and relational databases.
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployments (AWS, Azure, or similar).
A proven track record of playing a significant role in delivering business-critical web applications to production.
Ability to implement, query, and optimize Oracle and PostgreSQL data models and integrations.
Exceptional troubleshooting skills - comfortable digging into logs and code to quickly identify root cause and resolution.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Fluency in English (native or bilingual level) with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to fulfill Hybrid schedule: Onsite Tues, Wed, Thurs at our Overland Park, Kansas office; Remote Mon & Fri.

Nice To Haves

Experience creating internal AI prompt libraries/workflows for development teams.
Experience implementing CI/CD automation tools and practices
Experience with Ruby on Rails, Perl and UNIX
Experience with git, github and industry standard git workflows

Responsibilities

Lead solution design and development of web and mobile applications.
Drive AI adoption in engineering: Coding assistants, prompt-based debugging, automated test generation and documentation support.
Own end-to-end delivery of React.js web apps and React Native apps for iOS and Android.
Design, build and consume REST APIs across multiple back-end services and databases.
Work with Oracle and PostgreSQL RDS databases hosted in AWS.
Troubleshoot and support production processing systems and applications.
Write clean, high-performance and maintainable code that scales.
Collaborate closely with designers, QA, customers, internal stakeholders and fellow engineers on a cross-functional team.
Translate business requirements into intuitive, user-friendly solutions.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical business leaders.
