Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
• At least 1.5 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of experience coding with at least one of the following: Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, Scala
• 1+ years of experience with database and database management systems
• 1+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies
• 2+ years of experience using open source frameworks
• 1+ years of experience with front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks
• 2+ years of experience creating synchronous and asynchronous APIs
• 1+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks
• 1+ years of experience using Git-based version-control systems (e.g., Git, Github, Bitbucket)
• 1+ years of experience troubleshooting technical issues within cloud environments
• Experience leveraging modern AI-based coding tools and IDE copilots
• Experience with interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity, utilizing capabilities beyond basic code completion

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Agile teams and their product managers to design, develop, test, and deliver robust, full-stack, cloud-based solutions that drive financial empowerment
• Build and deploy solutions using modern technologies and a variety of AWS services
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, and contribute to the design and documentation of scalable APIs and system interfaces
• Stay current on technology trends, experiment with new technologies, and contribute to the engineering community through learning and mentorship
• Integrate risk awareness into daily work, proactively considering potential issues related to cybersecurity, regulatory compliance (OBL, SOX), audits, and change management
