About The Position

The Full Stack DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable software solutions and cloud-based infrastructure. This role combines full stack application development with DevOps practices to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing products. The engineer partners closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and information technology to build modern applications, automate deployment processes, optimize cloud environments, and ensure operational excellence. Success in this role requires strong software engineering expertise, hands-on cloud and infrastructure experience, and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years developing full stack applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript technologies
• Experience with server-side application development using Node.js or comparable backend frameworks.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL development, and database design principles.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure application development practices.
• 5+ years development operations experience
• Experience using Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience implementing automated unit and integration testing.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues across distributed application environments.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD platforms, cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, application deployments, and production support.
• Knowledge of networking, DNS, TLS/SSL, Linux administration, logging, monitoring, and cloud identity management.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, including: Container Apps, Service Bus, SQL / SQL Server, Networking and Virtual Networks (VNets), Key Vault, Microsoft Entra ID, Monitor and Application Insights, DevOps.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience supporting highly available, cloud-native production environments.
• Experience working within Agile development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements.
• Build and integrate APIs, databases, and application services to support enterprise applications, optimize data flow, and deliver reliable user experiences across distributed systems.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes that automate code integration, testing, deployment, and release management to improve software delivery speed and quality.
• Design, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure and containerized solutions, leveraging Infrastructure as Code, environment automation, and cloud-native services to ensure consistent and reliable operations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application and infrastructure issues, utilizing logging, monitoring, and performance analysis tools to maintain system availability and identify root causes efficiently.
• Implement security best practices including identity and access management, authentication and authorization controls, secrets management, network security, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to technical excellence by participating in architecture reviews, code reviews, documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives while demonstrating the ability to rapidly learn new frameworks and technologies.
