About The Position

JTEC Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and deliver end-to-end, cloud-native software solutions. The role spans the cloud software development lifecycle, including front-end interfaces, backend business logic, and distributed data layers. The developer will collaborate with engineering leadership to translate functional requirements into technical specifications, build scalable APIs, optimize cloud infrastructure, and maintain strong security and performance standards. The position is 100% on-site in Chantilly, Virginia. A current TS/SCI clearance with an agency-specific polygraph and U.S. citizenship are required. Relocation support for candidates outside the commuting area will be considered. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline is required, though equivalent years of direct experience may be considered instead. Requirements

U.S. citizenship.
Current TS/SCI clearance with an agency-specific polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent years of direct experience in lieu of a degree.
5–7 years of professional full-stack software development experience delivering production-grade custom applications.
Strong proficiency in a core backend programming language such as Java, C#, C++, or Python.
Hands-on proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and UI libraries such as Bootstrap.
Experience with relational and unstructured data stores and technologies including SQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, XML, and data analytics workflows.
Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining applications in enterprise cloud environments; AWS is strongly preferred, or Azure.
Experience designing, building, and documenting web APIs and microservices for system and data integration.
Experience developing comprehensive unit test scripts and using test-driven development practices.
Extensive experience working in iterative Agile/Scrum frameworks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration in a cross-functional team.

Nice To Haves

Active AWS certification, such as AWS Certified Developer or AWS Solutions Architect.
Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation and CI/CD orchestration tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Experience with data analysis and scripting languages such as Python or R.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Architect, build, and maintain custom applications across user interfaces, business logic, and data architectures.
Collaborate with the Chief Engineer and Technical Leads to translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications, architectural designs, and Agile user stories.
Design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and web services for cloud application and data integration.
Develop responsive, intuitive, and performant interfaces using modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks, primarily React.js, as well as HTML5 and CSS3.
Apply AWS best practices to architect, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and cost-conscious cloud-native systems.
Integrate application code with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools to support cloud orchestration and streamlined deployments.
Write, maintain, and automate unit and integration test suites to support code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement and iterative value delivery.
