About The Position

This role involves designing, developing, and supporting systems for financial modeling, analytics, and research. The developer will be responsible for writing new code, reviewing existing code to ensure it meets standard development practices, and supporting the operational execution of software solutions for market and credit risk monitoring and control. The position also includes modifying, maintaining, and developing applications using relevant tools and languages, and collaborating with financial research and engineering teams to define system requirements. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience with Python, front-end technologies (React, JavaScript), and web application development.
• Proven ability to write efficient, effective code.
• Practical experience with AI programming, especially using LLMs to build agentic applications.
• Master's in Computer Science/Software Engineering/related field + 2 years' analytics software development OR Bachelor's in Computer Science/Software Engineering/related field + 5 years' analytics software development
• Quantitative finance concepts
• Python programming, including web (Flask, Dash) and data processing (Pandas, NumPy)
• Front-end web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Database and SQL expertise
• Linux/Unix operating systems

Nice To Haves

• JavaScript frameworks: jQuery, data table, React
• Front-end design, including CSS and Tailwind
• Cloud technologies (Google Kubeflow, AWS)
• Mortgage or GSE (Government-Sponsored Enterprise) experience
• Additional programming languages: R, Java, C, C++, SAS
• Experience in fixed income, accounting, or capital markets is a plus.
• Strong AI/LLM (Large Language Model) application development experience.
