About The Position

ITegrity is seeking a skilled and motivated Database Developer to join its team. The role involves developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable database systems and web applications using Java, PostgreSQL, Apache Tomcat, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and HTML. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams using agile development methodologies.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Java development, including experience with Java 8+ and the Spring Boot framework.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and management.
Experience developing web applications using ReactJS, Spring Boot, and HTML.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Bootstrap.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with cloud-based services and deployment practices.
Experience with other Java frameworks like Spring Boot.
Knowledge of performance tuning for web servers and databases.
Familiarity with Change Management best practices.
Experience with digital document archiving and storage.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, optimizing performance, reliability, and scalability.
Develop backend services and integrate them with databases using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot to support front-end functionality.
Develop and maintain ReactJS and HTML web pages that work with backend services.
Create database schemas, stored procedures, and SQL queries to support application functionality and improve database performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve database and server issues to ensure uptime and data integrity.
Write unit tests and conduct performance testing to ensure system reliability.
Follow agile development methodologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.
