About The Position

Veracity Industrial Networks is looking for a Senior or Lead Full Stack Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is versatile, self-driven, and comfortable working across the full application stack — from user interfaces and backend services to databases, networking, and industrial systems. This position may be structured as either contract or full-time employment. Remote candidates are welcome, with preference given to candidates local to the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. The Full Stack Developer will help design, build, maintain, and improve software solutions used in industrial and operational technology environments. The ideal candidate can work independently, collaborate well with a team, and take ownership of projects from concept through delivery.

  • Strong experience with some or all of the following is preferred: Vue.js, Rust, Ethernet packets and network protocols, Industrial protocols, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Git, Full stack application development, API development and integration

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or familiarity with the following is helpful: OpenFlow, Software-defined networking, SDN, User interface and user experience design, Industrial automation or OT environments, Cybersecurity concepts, Network troubleshooting and packet analysis

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining modern web-based applications
  • Building intuitive and effective user interfaces
  • Designing backend services, APIs, and database integrations
  • Working with Ethernet packets, network protocols, and industrial communication protocols
  • Supporting software architecture, troubleshooting, and performance improvements
  • Collaborating with engineering, product, and technical teams
  • Using source control, DevOps tools, and structured development practices
  • Contributing to products involving industrial networking, cybersecurity, SDN, and OT environments
