About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring a Full Stack Developer (Python & React) in Dearborn, MI. This onsite role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, including designing software architecture, writing code, testing for quality, and deploying software. The role requires engaging with customers to understand their needs, solving complex problems using various tools and methodologies, assessing requirements, and creating high-level software architecture designs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, defining and implementing software test strategies, and continuously improving application performance are key aspects. You will also support security practices and create user-friendly interfaces, develop back-end applications like APIs and microservices, and evaluate emerging technologies.

Requirements

6+ years of experience in IT
4+ years of experience in development
Python, React, Angular, GCP, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence & Expert Systems.
Strong full-stack development experience with Python and modern front-end frameworks (Angular or React).
Proficiency with HTML, CSS, SCSS and building responsive web applications.
Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI.
Strong SQL skills with experience designing and optimizing relational databases.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including GCS, Cloud Run, and Apigee.
Proficiency with GitHub, including branching, merging, and pull requests
Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

Experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
Understanding of web and networking concepts, including HTTP/S, DNS, APIs, load balancing, and security.
Experience with RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) implementation.
Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to deeply understand their use-cases, pain points, and requirements, showcasing empathy and advocating for user-centric software solutions.
Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (like agile) and technologies.
Assess the requirements of the software application or service and determine the most suitable technology stack, integration method, deployment strategy, etc.
Create high-level software architecture designs that outline the overall structure, components, and interfaces of the application.
Collaborate with cross functional teams like product owners, designers, architects etc.
Define and implement software test strategy, guidelines, policies and processes in line with organization vision, industry regulations and market best practices.
Work on continuously improving performance and optimizing the application and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Familiar with programming practices, such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
Support security practices to safeguard user data including encryption and anonymization.
Create user-friendly and interactive interfaces.
Develop and maintain back-end applications like APIs and microservices using server-side languages.
Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities to deliver their solutions, and are monitoring and participating in solutions for new stack layers, often involving industry collaboration.
