About The Position

The Full Stack Developer will support the development of applications and services for a Digital Twin and Modeling & Simulation platform operating in hybrid and regulated environments. This role involves contributing to building prototype solutions using a modern technology stack and evolving them into production-ready systems that support real-world mission needs. The position offers the opportunity to gain experience developing interactive and data-driven applications, including those used for visualization, simulation, and analysis. The developer will collaborate closely with platform engineers, DevSecOps teams, and senior developers to build scalable, secure, and reliable solutions across cloud, on-premises, and constrained environments. Responsibilities include analyzing user needs and system requirements to ensure solutions align with existing architecture and support future mission capabilities. The role emphasizes continuous learning of new tools and technologies, contributing to system improvements, and supporting the delivery of resilient, high-impact solutions for Digital Twin capabilities to solve complex, real-world challenges.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with platforms such as Unity, Unreal, Omniverse, or NVIDIA or tools used for simulation, visualization, or Digital Twin applications
  • Experience building modular, scalable applications using microservices-based architectures
  • Experience with JavaScript and front-end frameworks
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming such as C#, C++, or Java
  • Knowledge of backend development using Python, SQL, and RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of software design patterns
  • Knowledge of building applications for both cloud and on-prem environments
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles, interaction design, and integrating UI assets into prototype applications
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP, including basic deployment and service usage
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in full-stack development using modern frameworks such as React or Angular
  • Experience working on immersive or extended reality applications
  • Experience building interactive data visualizations or dashboards
  • Knowledge of building SDKs or API frameworks
  • Knowledge of real-time or low-latency application development
  • Knowledge of Digital Twin concepts, modeling and simulation, or working in federal or DoD environments
  • Ability to display an interest in applying emerging technologies to mission challenges
  • Possession of strong analytical thinking skills
