Full Stack Developer (Java/Python)
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with deep coding experience in Java, Python, or NodeJS. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Confluent Kafka platform, Kafka Streaming, and frameworks like Spring Boot. A strong understanding of NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, is also required. The role involves working with messaging platforms, AWS networking, cloud architecture, and various API-based architectures (REST, SOAP). Experience with application deployment technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps tools like Jenkins and Maven is essential.
Requirements
- 6+ years of deep coding experience in at least 2 of the following programming languages: Java, NodeJS, Python.
- 3+ years of experience with Confluent Kafka platform and Kafka Streaming.
- 3+ years of experience with frameworks like Spring Boot.
- 3+ years of experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Experience with messaging platforms, preferably Kafka.
- Basic AWS networking knowledge and application deployment experience.
- Excellent understanding of Cloud architecture.
- Excellent understanding of various API based architectures, REST, SOAP, etc.
- Good understanding of overall Application programming and deployment.
- Experience with application deployment technologies including container orchestrations such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, and AWS ECR.
- Experience with DevOps and Deployment technologies such as Jenkins and Maven.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain DDP Kafka streaming pipelines using Java.
- Develop and maintain DDP VAE APIs using NodeJS.
- Write automation or scripting code using Python.
- Implement and manage Confluent Kafka platform and Kafka Streaming.
- Utilize frameworks like Spring Boot for application development.
- Work with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
- Deploy and manage applications using container orchestrations like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, and AWS ECR.
- Apply DevOps and Deployment technologies such as Jenkins and Maven.
- Ensure excellent understanding of Cloud architecture and API-based architectures (REST, SOAP).
- Apply basic AWS networking knowledge and application deployment experience.
