About The Position
Seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer at the Full Performance to Expert level to support a backend development team focused on middleware and backend services.
Requirements
- Intermediate to Expert level experience with Solr or Elasticsearch, with a minimum of 3 years.
- Experience performing schema updates.
- Significant knowledge and experience submitting Lucene queries.
- Significant knowledge and experience with how Solr or Elasticsearch shards work.
- Significant experience tuning Solr or Elasticsearch for performance and query optimization.
- At least 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, PySpark, Spark, and HBase; preferably experience with at least two of these tools.
- At least 5 years of hands-on backend Java development experience (not JavaScript or Spring Boot), implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and production deployment.
- College degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical degree.
- Demonstrated experience working with several AWS services.
- Demonstrated experience with JIRA and GitHub.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with at least two of Hadoop, PySpark, Spark, and HBase.
