About The Position

Insight Xcite is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support mission-critical operational and enterprise environments within the Intelligence Community. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications, APIs, and backend services supporting high-priority customer missions. The ideal candidate has experience across frontend and backend development, thrives in collaborative engineering environments, and enjoys solving complex technical challenges using modern technologies and frameworks. Compensation is determined based on experience, technical expertise, certifications, mission requirements, and overall alignment with customer and contract needs.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP)
  • Minimum 6 years of software development experience
  • Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with backend development using technologies such as Java, Python, Node.js, or similar
  • Experience developing APIs and enterprise applications
  • Experience with Git, version control, and software development lifecycle practices
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, or automation tools
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community or government environments
  • Experience with modern UI/UX principles and responsive design
  • Relevant technical certifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain modern full stack applications
  • Develop frontend interfaces and backend services supporting mission and enterprise systems
  • Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and distributed applications
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and operational stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and system performance issues
  • Participate in Agile development and DevOps activities
  • Contribute to secure software development and deployment practices
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and code repositories
