About The Position
We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Full Stack Developer in Finance Technology to build and modernize distributed, data-intensive systems that power critical financial technology platforms while enabling innovation across our business lines. In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Software Engineering position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs. Requirements
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to think creatively and deliver innovative solutions
- Demonstrated integrity and strong interest in financial technology and software development
- Experience with core technologies such as Java/Spring stack, Scala, Angular, Python
- Exposure to cloud computing, relational databases, data warehousing, caching, and messaging/streaming technologies
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and test automation frameworks
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment
- Openness to diverse perspectives and experiences across industries
- Knowledge of French and English is required
Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative, reliable, distributed data-intensive transactional systems using modern architecture patterns
- Take ownership of technology platforms across the full software development lifecycle, from conception to production deployment
- Drive modernization initiatives and promote agile ways of working
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver high-impact solutions
- Contribute to the evolution of scalable system design, performance optimization, and resilience
