About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring a Full Stack Developer in Dearborn, MI. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs. The developer will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, including designing software architecture, writing code, testing for quality, and deploying software. Full-stack software engineering roles, including development of both user interfaces and server-side components, fall within this job function. The company is a global provider of outsourcing, IT digital consulting, systems integration, application, and strategic staffing services to Fortune 1000 enterprises.

Requirements

  • PostgreSQL
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Angular
  • Spring Boot
  • Java
  • 6+ years of experience in IT
  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Define, design, and ship new features using the following technologies and practices: Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Continuous integration and continuous delivery, including Jenkins and GitHub, GCP, APIs, Test-driven development (TDD)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with code-quality APIs or tools, such as SonarQube.
  • Experience with service-interaction APIs or tools, such as Apigee and Swagger.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools and pipelines, such as Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
  • Experience with Spring Cloud and deploying to cloud platforms, preferably Pivotal Cloud Foundry or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Highly effective collaboration with technical specialists, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and Product Owners.
  • Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and communicate clearly with Product Managers, Product Owners, and UI/UX Designers during the development and support of application features.
  • Perform technical design, coding with test automation, support, and documentation of software application modifications.
  • Ensure quality code is delivered through high standards, continuous integration, development, and testing.
  • Develop test plans, execute testing, and support continuous releases.
  • Work as part of a product team to lead the engineering, development, and coding of complex solutions that enable critical Connected Consumer and Vehicle Features.
  • Apply software craftsmanship principles to projects and share successful implementations.
  • Develop tools and processes to automate the delivery of new features and capabilities while eliminating waste.
  • Lead software engineers in understanding platform vision, breaking out tasks, and solving challenging issues.
