About The Position

Birdseye is seeking an AI-native Full Stack Developer to build production software across the front end and back end. The ideal candidate will have fundamentally changed how they develop software using agentic AI tools. This role requires strong proficiency in React and Redux for the front end, and Java with Spring Boot for the back end, with productivity in Node.js or Python also being valuable. Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software-development experience
  • Mastery of an agentic development tool such as Claude Code or Cursor
  • Practical experience using AI for specifications, coding, reviews, QA, automated testing, debugging, and documentation
  • Experience orchestrating subagents or parallel AI workflows
  • A strong understanding of context-window management
  • The technical judgment to verify, correct, and take ownership of AI-generated work
  • Strong production experience with React and Redux
  • Strong production experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Professional experience with either Node.js or Python
  • Experience building and operating customer-facing web applications
  • Experience with APIs, databases, integrations, and automated testing

Responsibilities

  • Build production software across the front end and back end.
  • Build clear, responsive React and Redux interfaces for complex operational workflows.
  • Build APIs, integrations, and business logic using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Use AI agents throughout specification, implementation, review, testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Create meaningful unit, integration, API, and front-end tests.
  • Consider failure handling, observability, security, performance, and maintainability before release.
  • Stay responsible for the capability after the initial code is written, including integration, release, production verification, and defect resolution.
