About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support a U.S. Government customer on one of our subcontracts. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide technical expertise in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems for a large government contract. The role requires adaptability and a proactive approach to understanding and developing solutions for potentially vague or shifting requirements. The ideal candidate is driven by learning new technologies, excited to build tools for mission cognizance and workflow automation, and comfortable working in customer spaces with mentorship from senior engineers.

Requirements

  • Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • 3 years of Professional/Education experience and a Bachelors of Science Degree, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a BS Degree.
  • Works well independently as well as on a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Development Experience: Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
  • A Healthy Relationship with Ambiguity: Adaptable, driven by changing requirements, and comfortable with new technology.
  • Strong Communication: Comfortable talking to humans, asking good questions, and actively listening.
  • The Basics: Comfortable navigating Linux environments and using Git.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience playing with agentic AI frameworks or building tools utilizing LLMs.
  • Familiarity with containerization (like Docker).
  • Any exposure to or interest in the SIGINT or CNO (Computer Network Operations) mission spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Embrace the Blur: Take vague or high-level requirements and turn them into actionable software by actively visiting customers and stakeholders to seek clarification.
  • Prototype Fearlessly: Write code, put it in front of users, gather feedback, and iterate.
  • Bother the Seniors: Actively seek out senior developers for code reviews, architectural discussions, and mentorship.
  • Code with AI: Utilize AI-assisted software development tools to enhance output and learn new paradigms.
  • Build Full-Stack Solutions: Write scripts, develop user interfaces, and build backend logic to integrate disparate data sources into cohesive tools.
