About The Position
Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. This role requires strong backend engineering skills with Spring Boot and micro-services, but the primary focus is on schema design, query optimization, and large-scale database migration. The successful candidate will lead the transition of applications from HDI to PostgreSQL.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and migration.
- Strong Java (Spring Boot, microservices) development experience.
- Cloud deployment experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Familiarity with messaging/event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Prior HDI and Postgres experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the transition of applications from HDI to PostgreSQL.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
- Perform large-scale database migrations.
- Develop using Java (Spring Boot, microservices).
- Deploy applications to the cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Work with messaging/event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
