Full-Stack Developer
About The Position
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a contract engagement to build resilient backend services and full-stack solutions for strategic initiatives. The role involves technical discovery, designing API contracts, and delivering production-ready code in an agile environment. The position focuses on building scalable microservices with TypeScript and Node.js, with occasional React UI enhancements. It also includes creating cloud-native backend services, addressing system integration challenges, and implementing enterprise-grade security, performance, and maintainability. The developer will collaborate with product and engineering team members to refine requirements, sequence technical deliverables, and conduct code reviews.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience writing production backend APIs and services with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with React for web UI work.
- Practical experience with AWS serverless or cloud tooling, including Lambda, ECS, and S3.
- Practical experience with NoSQL databases, including DynamoDB.
- Strong understanding of JWTs and OAuth design patterns.
- Comfort navigating ambiguous requirements and independently delivering clean, well-tested code.
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to Java, Angular, GraphQL, or Kong API Gateway.
- Experience with CI/CD via GitHub Actions and cross-language migration patterns.
