Jumpseller is a SaaS solution for small businesses to manage their online business, focusing on making e-commerce easier. Merchants use the Jumpseller platform to manage all aspects of their online business, including their online store, mobile sales, social network sales, and other e-commerce channels. Jumpseller offers a startup environment where contributions are valued and professional growth is encouraged. The company has offices in Porto, Portugal, and Santiago, Chile, with an international and fully remote working culture.

Requirements

• A bachelor's/master's degree in Informatics or a related field.
• Proven professional experience in Object-Oriented programming and web development.
• Attentive to details, delivering quality code that is maintainable, efficient, and reliable.
• Experience in MySQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with version-control and automated testing tools.
• Experience working with JSON/XML/CSV formats.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS.
• Experience in Ruby or Ruby on Rails (the right candidate will be considered without this experience).
• Good English communication skills.
• Teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in an informal environment for a global market.
• Strive to write clean, modular, flawless, and scalable code responsible for handling millions of records.
• Design new features from ground-up, based on a given set of specifications.
• Build automated tests for code and help improve and maintain the current test set.
• Collaborate with the Customer Support Team to resolve technical issues and understand how to improve the service.
• Take responsibility, autonomy, and ownership of work.
