About The Position

Net 2 Source Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Developer with Python experience for a remote, 12+ month contract role. The position involves working with technologies such as Python, Groovy, AWS, security tooling (Blackduck, Coverity, Sonarqube, Aqua Security), Kubernetes, and Terraform. The role requires extensive experience in software development, continuous deployment, and test automation, with a strong emphasis on architectural design and leadership communication. The developer will be expected to analyze current states, understand desired states, present new solutions to leadership, and gain buy-in. Key responsibilities include debugging, reverse engineering, and re-architecting Jenkins build jobs, practicing pair programming, and integrating Agile and Scrum practices. The work environment includes direct-owned AWS accounts and a focus on moving towards 99% automation in operations, quality inspections, and information security compliance.

Requirements

  • Must have 20+ years experience in Software Development/Continuous deployment settings.
  • Must have at least 10 years experience engineering.
  • Must have at least 10 years experience architecting test automation.
  • Must be an expert in 3+ Software programming languages with Python and Groovy being at least 2 (the third can be Java, JavaScript, or C).
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience with Blackduck, Coverity, Sonarqube, Aqua Security.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Terraform.
  • Experience with Jenkins.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Groovy.
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, or C as a third programming language.

Responsibilities

  • Practice pair programming and be available during Eastern time zone hours.
  • Integrate Agile and scrum practices across engineering teams.
  • Analyze current state and understand desired state.
  • Present new solutions and the plan to leadership and gain support and buy in.
