About The Position

Design, develop and re-engineer complex application components and integrate software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. Participate in design and development of front-end and backend-based software solutions using technologies such as Vue, React, Angular, Java and Spring Boot based solutions to create efficient design and user interaction screens using HTML, CSS, Angular and NodeJS. Implement software solutions using object-oriented principles and design structural and behavioral design patterns in designing software solutions. Design custom components in ServiceNow and maintain a catalogue of custom components for ServiceNow developers. Assist in implementing continuous delivery/continuous integration (CI/CD) pipeline with Docker, Jenkins and GitHub by virtualizing servers using Docker for development and testing environments. Support maintenance and improvement of critical applications and conduct appropriate unit and module testing; detect, report, investigate and fix defects. Perform application development based on Agile methodologies and participate in requirements and user story analysis, design, and execution. Evaluate new technologies and processes that enhance software application service capabilities and act as a system subject matter expert for various implementation of software solutions. Perform component front-end and backend-troubleshooting using standard tools such as Chrome Developer tools, Fidler, Postman and Swagger. Write end user documentations of software products. Analyze and determine performance standards of systems.

Requirements

Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Masters degree)
One (1) year of experience as a Software Developer or related.
One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Java, Vue3, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MS SQL Server (MSSQL).
