Full Stack Commerce Engineer

Nordic Investin Group•Stockholm, ME

About The Position

Nordic Investin is recruiting a Full Stack Commerce Engineer on behalf of one of our partner companies. The partner is strengthening its capability in composable commerce journeys from catalogue to fulfilment. You will take responsibility for work that connects Next.js, Node.js and headless commerce, while ensuring that GraphQL and PostgreSQL receive appropriate discipline. The objective is progress that colleagues can use and leaders can evaluate. The environment suits someone who tests assumptions early, documents trade-offs and treats operability as part of the design. You will work in short delivery cycles with direct access to product, domain and operational colleagues. The partner expects engineers to review designs, test assumptions early and follow important changes into production. Decisions should be recorded clearly enough that another engineer can understand the tradeoff months later. This role calls for solid delivery experience and the appetite to take broader ownership. You will be expected to recognise when a decision needs wider expertise, make trade-offs visible and move work forward without creating unnecessary process.

  • Relevant experience delivering composable commerce journeys from catalogue to fulfilment in a demanding environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Next.js and Node.js.
  • Practical experience applying headless commerce and GraphQL.
  • Ability to assess risk, priorities and trade-offs involving PostgreSQL.
  • Evidence of clear stakeholder communication and dependable end-to-end ownership.
  • Professional English and the judgement to work with sensitive or business-critical information.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience from retail, direct-to-consumer or marketplace businesses.
  • Exposure to observability in a cross-functional environment.
  • Swedish language skills or experience working across Nordic organisations.

Responsibilities

  • Own the practical direction for composable commerce journeys from catalogue to fulfilment.
  • Translate goals and constraints into a clear approach for Next.js and Node.js.
  • Establish useful standards, routines or artefacts around headless commerce.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and dependencies affecting GraphQL.
  • Use evidence and measurable outcomes to improve PostgreSQL.
  • Strengthen knowledge sharing, decision quality and sustainable ownership across the team.
