About The Position

This role involves performing senior-level systems analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of applications and databases. The engineer will develop and enhance complex applications, integrate third-party products, and translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable code. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, debugging, and supporting software applications using automated practices, deploying code to various environments, and providing ongoing production support. The position also requires submitting and documenting change control requests, leading system design and code reviews, analyzing and resolving complex technical issues, mentoring junior team members, collaborating with cross-functional partners, communicating technical concepts effectively, and ensuring compliance with IT and Information Security policies. Participation in special projects and other assigned duties are also expected.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, including significant hands-on application development experience supporting complex enterprise applications.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies and application architecture principles.
Experience analyzing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
Hands-on experience developing modern web applications using React and/or JavaScript or TypeScript.
Experience designing and integrating REST APIs, microservices, and third-party solutions.
Experience with Git, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, automated testing, code scanning, and secure coding practices.
Experience supporting enterprise applications in production, including monitoring, troubleshooting, performance, resiliency, and incident resolution.
Working knowledge of relational databases, application architecture, and cloud or enterprise hosting environments.

Nice To Haves

Experience with identity and access management technologies and standards, including single sign-on, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or SAML.
Experience applying AI-enabled engineering tools and practices to improve development speed, code quality, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

Lead and participate in system design reviews, code reviews, and testing activities throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet architecture, security, quality, and maintainability standards.
Analyze and resolve complex technical issues and provide guidance on best practices.
Mentor and support less experienced team members.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business needs and deliver technology solutions that meet those needs.
Communicate technical concepts and systems issues effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ensure compliance with Information Technology and Information Security policies, standards, and procedures.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
