About The Position

Koantek is seeking multiple experienced Full Stack Application Developer to design and build modern, production-ready applications and user experiences. This role requires strong hands-on experience developing Single Page Applications (SPAs), building scalable backend services and APIs, and working with relational databases.

The ideal candidate combines strong application engineering fundamentals with a bias toward action, excellent communication skills, and technical leadership. Experience with Databricks Apps and the broader Databricks platform is highly desirable but not required.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in full-stack application development.
• Demonstrated experience designing/building production SPAs using React, Angular, or equivalent alongside JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience building backend services and REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, Node.js, or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong experience with relational database design, queries, performance optimization, and integration (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Solid understanding of modern web architecture, API integration, authentication, security, testing, and deployment practices.
• Ability to independently take a feature or application from concept through production delivery.

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing and deploying Databricks Apps or working with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Familiarity integrating applications with custom Databricks APIs, SQL Warehouses, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, or Lakehouse architectures.
• Experience building data-intensive or analytics-focused web applications.
• Cloud application development experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containers

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy modern Single Page Applications (SPAs) using frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar technologies.
• Build intuitive, responsive, and maintainable front-end experiences using modern JavaScript/TypeScript development practices.
• Develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Design and integrate applications with relational databases, with a strong emphasis on PostgreSQL.
• Build end-to-end application functionality spanning front-end, backend, APIs, authentication, and data layers.
• Collaborate with data engineers, platform engineers, architects, product stakeholders, and customers to translate business requirements into working applications.
• Develop applications and user experiences that integrate seamlessly with data and analytics platforms.
• Drive technical decisions, produce clean, well-tested code, and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
• Take full ownership of deliverables, moving projects from initial concept through production deployment.
