About The Position

It builds AI products, delivers enterprise AI and digital solutions, and co-invests with clients to bring new AI products to market. Open source has been foundational to the company since 2007. Its teams work with organizations in highly regulated industries to help them adopt AI they can govern and own. As a Full-Stack AI Engineer, you will transform business ideas into production-ready applications using AI design tools and modern full-stack frameworks. The role emphasizes frontend development and early-stage product work, from concept through prototype, combining design systems with AI-augmented development. You will rapidly generate components with tools such as v0.dev, bolt.new, and Lovable, then build the complete stack to enterprise standards for accessibility, performance, responsive design, and scalability. You will work in an experimental, fast-paced team taking applications from concepts and prototypes toward production readiness.

Requirements

At least 4 years of full-stack development experience with strong frontend expertise in modern UI frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Nuxt.js.
Proven experience with PHP and Python.
Hands-on experience with AI design tools such as v0.dev, bolt.new, Lovable, or similar platforms.
Experience with specification-driven development tools such as GitHub Spec-kit and Open Spec.
Strong track record of delivering production-grade full-stack applications.
Solid understanding of backend development, including API design (REST and GraphQL), server-side logic, and database management.
Experience with platforms such as Supabase and with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
Proficiency with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT, and security best practices.
Understanding of caching strategies, performance optimization, and scalability patterns.
Deep understanding of design systems, design tokens, and component-driven development.
Expert-level proficiency with Figma, including design-system management and component libraries.
Experience with CSS frameworks such as TailwindCSS and modern styling approaches.
Strong collaboration and creative problem-solving skills.
Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript/ES6+ features.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for innovation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
A portfolio showcasing full-stack applications built, including work with design systems and AI design tools.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a startup or rapid-prototyping environment.
Experience with NodeJS and Express.
Experience with workflow automation platforms such as N8N.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

Rapidly transform concepts into interactive prototypes using v0.dev, bolt.new, Lovable, and similar AI design tools.
Build full-stack applications from prototype to production, emphasizing frontend excellence and solid backend foundations.
Ensure components align with existing design systems and brand guidelines, including design tokens, color palettes, typography, and spacing.
Develop production-ready UI components with modern frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, and Nuxt.js, following accessibility, performance, and responsive-design best practices.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services, including with platforms such as Supabase.
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to manage application data efficiently.
Implement authentication and caching strategies, and optimize application performance across the stack.
Collaborate with UX Designers, AI Builders, and Innovation Leads throughout the development lifecycle.
Use GitHub Spec-kit and/or Open Spec to streamline development workflows and maintain specification standards.
Use Figma and design-system tooling to maintain component libraries and streamline design-development handoff.
Document design decisions and technical implementation in Jira as part of a ticket-driven workflow.
