About The Position

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands, with vehicles found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves. The Fulfillment Zone Lead will assist in running an assigned zone for all materials and areas, conducting morning start-up meetings, training hourly employees, managing daily production schedules, participating in safety audits, tracking metrics, troubleshooting issues, identifying improvements, and ensuring proper storage of tools and equipment. This role is responsible for executing and maintaining acceptable performance standards for fulfillment, quality, safety, and housekeeping.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2 or more years of experience required
  • Experience in warehouse environment required

Nice To Haves

  • MRP experience preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
  • WMS experience preferred
  • YMS experience preferred
  • Microsoft experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in running assigned zone for all materials and area assigned.
  • Conduct morning start up meetings to emphasize safety, set goals, and communicate weekly work plans in zone.
  • Train and provide guidance to hourly employees within a zone of operation.
  • Manage fulfillment needs of daily production schedules and any schedule revisions for materials within zones of responsibility.
  • Participate in monthly safety audits and implement solutions based on identified gaps.
  • Track and input of metrics for assigned zone.
  • Assist team members with troubleshooting and problem-solving issues.
  • Assist in identifying areas of improvement and support proper implementation.
  • Ensure all company supplied tools and equipment used are properly stored at the end of each shift by reviewing daily inspection sheets for vehicles and PIT equipment.
  • Execute and maintain acceptable performance standards for fulfillment, quality, safety, and housekeeping
