Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Comfortable using warehouse systems (e.g., NetSuite, Ormandy) and handheld scanning technology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of fulfillment associates, shippers, and support sta- to ensure timely and accurate order processing
• Provide hands-on leadership on the floor, addressing issues in real time and assisting with high-priority tasks as needed
• Monitor staffing levels and coordinate breaks, task assignments, and shift transitions
• Train, coach, and cross-train associates on processes, systems, and safety protocols
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and work with the Fulfillment Manager to implement process improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
• Review order metrics, shipping performance, and fulfillment accuracy; report discrepancies or trends
• Serve as point of contact for escalations during the shift (e.g., inventory issues, system errors, order delays)
• Support performance evaluations by providing feedback and tracking individual productivity
• Assist with onboarding new team members and supporting temporary staff during peak volume periods
