About The Position

The Fulfillment Specialist plays a vital role in the treatment process of the FAI Tolerance Induction Program by ensuring patient parcels are accurately filled and promptly shipped. The Specialist uses a wide variety of software systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ship patient parcels. The Specialist must support ancillary shipping responsibilities, such as ordering supplies and communicating directly with shipping carriers, in addition to receiving parcels and logging their receipt according to SOPs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Able to communicate with all levels of management and other departments effectively and concisely.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior picking, packing, and/or shipping experience is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, is preferred.
  • Salesforce experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Unpack and stock incoming shipments from a variety of different carriers and vendors.
  • Record receipt of shipments according to existing SOPs.
  • Compound and heat-seal SLIT orders according to established SOPs. These SOPs set expectations on speed, accuracy, and adherence to set policies and procedures.
  • Use available systems (primarily Salesforce) to monitor incoming patient orders.
  • Communicate directly with patient families, clinical providers, and other clinical staff to ensure accurate shipments, correct destination addresses, and timely shipping schedules.
  • Pick dosing orders from inventory without any additional supervision or guidance.
  • Seal, pack, and secure orders using the ideal combination of insulation, ice packs, envelopes, boxes, bags, and/or protective wrapping. If needed, the Associate may be required to print patient-specific labels on the required packaging.
  • Adhere to all required QC processes and procedures while ensuring orders are completed by the established daily cutoff times.
  • Track shipments in all required logs and systems.
  • Monitor supply inventory while making the Operations Manager aware of any shortages and required orders.
  • Regularly report progress to Operations Manager.
  • Occasionally, the Specialist may be asked to support general (i.e., non-shipping) SLIT and/or Food Lab duties and responsibilities. Assignment of these tasks will be dependent on current business demand. The Specialist will be given the appropriate training and support prior to task assignment.
