About The Position

The Fulfillment Specialist provides high-quality customer service to employers to ensure satisfaction, support ongoing engagement, and assist with job postings and timely fulfillment. This role leverages employer relationships to identify employment opportunities for candidates in the Philadelphia Workforce. Additional tasks include ability to identify employer workforce training and development needs and communicate these insights across all Philadelphia CareerLink Centers and System Wide Teams (Special Projects, Community Services). The goal of the Fulfilment Specialist is to strengthen referrals, enhance placements in alignment with Philadelphia Works’ employer engagement strategies.

Requirements

  • Previous recruiting experience required.
  • Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
  • Must be comfortable making presentations to large groups of people.
  • Must be comfortable networking and sharing information.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing workloads and expectations.
  • Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Mediate advanced knowledge of Excel strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Able to work occasional weekends and after hours as needed to support BST employer events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming referrals from the 4 CareerLink® locations, including pre-screening based on specific employer expectations/requirements.
  • Provide pre-screening feedback to PA CareerLink® employees through CWDS status updates
  • Follow-up on employer services to identify placement outcomes
  • Maintain applicants on CWDS job postings to properly source candidate resumes
  • Perform initial and follow-up client visits as necessary
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors, with a focus on building strong relationships across PA CareerLink® teams.
  • Partner with PA CareerLink® Job Matchers in an effort to promote and screen referrals from TANF, WIOA, and Universal caseloads
  • Arrange for and coordinate in-center hiring events for prescreened center talent
  • Represent PA CareerLink® at conferences, meetings, Chamber of Commerce events, and selected social functions as required
  • Follow up with PA CareerLink® employees to ensure that client expectations are met
  • Enter employer information into CWDS and the system referred by PhilaWorks to monitor employer activities
  • Inform employers regarding OJT process and benefits as well as other city-wide initiatives
  • Educate customers about WIOA, Labor Exchange, training, and other CareerLink® services
  • Complete Labor Exchange paperwork, CWDS applications, and case notes for all client interactions.
  • Meet performance criteria on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
  • Responsible for data tracking of every service provided and utilization of the state system of record, CWDS, as well as the team-wide reporting platform.
