About The Position
ABB Optical is hiring Fulfillment Specialists (Pickers) for its distribution center. No experience is required; the company is seeking people with a positive attitude, willingness to do a great job, and interest in working as part of a dynamic, fast-paced team. Training and growth opportunities are available within the distribution center and corporate headquarters. The starting pay is $15.50 per hour. A pay-for-performance program may provide up to an additional $3.00 per hour. The position may also be eligible for a bonus and/or commission plan, subject to the applicable plan. The anticipated base salary range is $15.50 per hour; actual pay may depend on location, experience, education and qualifications, job-related skills, internal equity, and applicable minimum-wage laws. The posting lists full-time weekday shifts of Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; or 12:30 p.m.–9:00 p.m. It also lists a part-time Monday–Friday shift of 4:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. Applicants must be able to work one of the listed shifts. The company provides training on using an electronic RF scanner, pulling orders with a cart, packing customer orders for shipment, preparing warehouse areas for the following day's shipments, and maintaining a safe work area. The role requires standing and walking for the duration of the shift and working accurately in a time-sensitive, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Requirements
- No prior experience is required.
- Ability to stand and walk for a full shift, whether part-time or full-time.

Responsibilities
- Use an RF gun (electronic scanner) to scan items.
- Use a cart to pull orders through warehouse aisles.
- Pack customer orders in preparation for shipment.
- Prepare warehouse areas for the following day's shipments.
- Maintain safety in the work environment by keeping the area free of safety hazards.
