About The Position

This is a part-time fulfillment specialist position on the first shift, supporting central fill operations in a pharmacy setting. The role involves assisting with the preparation and transfer of prescription orders, maintaining automated production lines, and working with transportation partners to ensure timely delivery to stores. The specialist will also help maintain pharmacy systems and technologies, troubleshoot routine errors with automated devices, and assist with supply replenishment and workstation cleaning. Additionally, the role includes creating documentation, supporting inventory technicians, and participating in inventory audits.

Requirements

Ability to follow and promote proper Pharmacy, general safety and security procedures and processes.
Ability to assist with preparation of intra-facility transfers of completed prescription orders.
Ability to maintain automated production lines, inspect/prepare packages, sort, and apply manifest information to prescription orders.
Ability to organize totes on pallets for shipment and work with transportation partners.
Ability to assist with maintaining pharmacy systems and technologies.
Ability to monitor and maintain uptime of automated counting, collating, packaging, and sorting devices.
Ability to troubleshoot routine errors with automated devices.
Ability to assist with replenishment of supplies and cleaning of workstations.
Ability to create and maintain documentation.
Ability to assist Inventory Technicians and participate in Inventory Audits.

Responsibilities

Follow and promote proper Pharmacy, general safety and security procedures and processes of the company.
Assist with preparation of intra-facility transfers (i.e. completed prescription orders) for delivery to stores. These are non-technician tasks to support central fill operations.
Maintain automated production lines, inspect/prepare packages, sort, and apply manifest information to prescription orders.
Organize totes on pallets to prepare for shipment. Works with transportation partners to ship completed totes to stores.
Assist with maintaining the pharmacy system and technologies that facilitate proper conveyance, packaging, and shipping of prescriptions. Escalate technical and workflow issues as needed.
Monitoring and maintaining uptime of automated counting, collating, packaging, and sorting devices, ensuring continuous operation through basic troubleshooting of routine errors.
Assist with replenishment of supplies and cleaning of workstations as needed.
Create and maintain documentation as requested.
Assist Inventory Technicians as requested. Participate in Inventory Audits.
Other duties as assigned concurrent with all applicable laws and regulations.
