We're looking for a highly organized, data-driven, relationship-building Fulfillment Manager to take ownership of our fulfillment ecosystem. This role is the quarterback of our external operations network, overseeing our 3PL fulfillment partners, returns processor, Amazon marketplace fulfillment, and retail showroom inventory. If you enjoy solving complex operational puzzles, building strong vendor partnerships, diving into data, and finding ways to make good processes even better, we'd love to meet you.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
  • Experience managing 3PL providers and vendor relationships.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, including both FBA and FBM operations.
  • Experience working with returns processing or reverse logistics.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to hold partners accountable.
  • The ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Shopify or another DTC eCommerce platform.
  • Familiarity with carrier management and shipping economics.
  • Knowledge of Amazon account health and reimbursement processes.
  • Experience with returns automation platforms.
  • APICS CSCP certification (or active pursuit).
  • Experience supporting high-volume peak seasons, promotions, or product launches.

Responsibilities

  • Own Our Fulfillment Network: You'll be the primary point of contact for KURU's fulfillment partners and the driving force behind keeping our operations running smoothly. Manage relationships with our 3PL fulfillment partners and hold them accountable to service expectations. Monitor key performance metrics including shipping speed, order accuracy, inventory integrity, and fulfillment costs. Lead business reviews, performance discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with fulfillment providers to optimize packaging, inventory flow, and the customer unboxing experience. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support KURU's continued growth. Support special product launches, promotions, and other operational initiatives.
  • Keep Inventory Flowing: You'll help ensure customers can find the products they love-whether they're shopping online or visiting us in person. Monitor inventory levels across fulfillment locations. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shrinkage issues. Partner with Supply Chain Planning to keep inventory positioned where it's needed most. Ensure our Salt Lake City showroom is consistently stocked and ready to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Lead Reverse Logistics & Returns: Returns aren't just returns-they're valuable insights. Manage the relationship with KURU's returns processing partner. Monitor processing speed, grading accuracy, and inventory recovery rates. Analyze return trends and use data to help improve products and customer experience. Drive improvements in efficiency, sustainability, and fraud prevention. Ensure returned inventory is accurately reflected and available for resale when appropriate.
  • Own Amazon Fulfillment Operations: You'll help keep one of our fastest-growing sales channels running smoothly. Manage both Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) and Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) operations. Coordinate inbound inventory shipments to Amazon fulfillment centers. Monitor inventory health, storage fees, and account performance metrics. Resolve shipment discrepancies and inventory reconciliation issues. Stay current on Amazon policies, requirements, and operational changes.
  • Collaborate Across the Business: This role works closely with nearly every department. Partner with Supply Chain Planning to prepare for seasonal demand and product launches.
