About The Position

Crowd Cow is seeking a Fulfillment Center Task Lead to join their warehouse team. This role is critical to ensuring that exacting standards are met and customer orders are delivered accurately and on time. The Fulfillment Center is a cold storage facility, and candidates must be comfortable working in this environment. The Task Lead will work under pressure, stay organized, and assist in supervising a team of 5 to 10 employees. They will work alongside the manager, assist with picking, packing, and receiving tasks, and lead by example. The position requires pride in work, independence, a positive attitude, and adaptability to various shifts. The Task Lead is directly responsible for staff in picking, packing, or receiving areas, performing warehouse activities, and managing inventory. Attention to detail is crucial for inspecting products and reporting damages. The primary operating schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6 am - 4:30 pm, with potential overtime.

Requirements

Proven track record as a Warehouse Associate or similar position.
Proactive problem resolution and process improvement skills.
Basic Computer Knowledge.
Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment.
Solid communication skills.
Solid inventory skills.
Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work.
Ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Delegate responsibilities and directly perform the same tasks as those assigned to team members.
Process, pack, and ship orders accurately.
Maintain inventory of products and restock as needed.
Inspect products for damages and report them.
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
Receive, sort, and store incoming products appropriately.
Prepare products for shipping.
Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
Maintain adequate levels of supplies for the specific area, including corrugated material, paper, labels, safety knives, and marketing materials.
Interact with management and team members in other departments to plan, execute, and report on initiatives.
Actively look for efficiency gains, process improvements, and potential shortfalls.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
