The Fulfillment Center Inbound Supervisor oversees the warehouse operational functions related to receiving of product (including transfers), product put away, inventory control, location maintenance and merchandising. This role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of product at all times as applicable to their assigned facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years in warehousing or supply chain
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role
  • Experience with ERP/TMS systems in manufacturing or distribution environments
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Safety-sensitive position requiring consistent alertness and adherence to safe work practices
  • Maintains proficiency in company systems for data entry, communication, and routine administrative tasks

Responsibilities

  • Oversees warehouse staff and daily operations, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and policy compliance
  • Provides regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews, recognizing strong performance and addressing issues in coordination with HR
  • Trains team members on key procedures and equipment use, and implements cross-training and backup plans for role coverage
  • Maintains a clean, organized work environment and delegates daily tasks to support workflow efficiency
  • Oversees monthly facility inspections, general maintenance, and upkeep initiatives
  • Escalates operational or facility issues to management and participates in walkthroughs with corporate representatives as needed
  • Serves as a key safety advocate, partnering with branch leadership to promote a safety-first culture through training, accountability, and positive reinforcement
  • Conducts safety observations, addresses hazards, and ensures compliance with policies and best practices
  • Leads safety training and certification for powered industrial equipment and supports accurate reporting of incidents and safety data
  • Reviews inspections, escalates concerns as needed, and recommends operational improvements to enhance workplace safety
  • Oversees accurate and efficient handling of incoming freight, ensuring adherence to SOPs for Bills of Lading, damage notations, and freight counts
  • Monitors deliveries, drivers, and purchase orders via the receiving log, and reports exceptions such as damages or shortages
  • Communicates receiving issues—including vendor delays, equipment damage, or employee concerns—to management promptly
  • Maintains accurate item locations within the warehouse and communicates updates to the inventory team
  • Ensures shelves and storage areas are properly labeled and aligned with physical inventory
  • Investigates and resolves discrepancies identified in the negative location report
  • Performs other duties as assigned, with flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs and responsibilities
