About The Position

Receive, unload, and inspect returned furniture to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards. Process returns through inspection, restocking, and product disposition (BIS, refurbish, donate, or dispose) following established procedures. Accurately document return outcomes and flag quality or product issues to the appropriate teams. Assist with organizing inventory, storage optimization, and maintaining accurate stock records. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized returns workspace at all times. Support order preparation when needed (picking, labeling, staging). Collaborate with Warehouse Operators, Logistics, and Customer Happiness teams to resolve return-related issues. Follow SOPs and contribute suggestions for process improvements and efficiency. Perform other related warehouse and fulfilment tasks as required.

Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of experience in a warehouse, distribution centre, or logistics environment.
  • Ability to work physically for extended periods (standing, lifting up to 49 lbs / 22 kg, working in variable temperatures).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes consistently.
  • Comfort working with inspections, quality checks, and basic documentation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in quality control, returns processing, or furniture handling is a plus.
  • Experience in small teams or start-up environments is a plus.
