About The Position

As a Symbia Logistics Fulfillment Associate, we want a creative and dynamic individual to perform various warehouse activities. Your activities and cross training may include receiving, data input, sorting, loading, and unloading, as well as using up to date technology to work in packaging and scanning products. There are inventory duties, organizing, processing and the obvious job of pick/pack/ship exciting products for our amazing clients! The right candidate will have a strong attention to detail as you will also be inspecting products for defects and reporting damages as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and prior experience.
  • 1-2 years of prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge and prior experience with warehouse data systems.
  • Excellent communication and inventory skills.
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and good depth perception.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (at least two hours straight, four times in an eight-hour day).
  • Ability to twist, bend, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to use hands and feet simultaneously for repetitive movements.
  • Ability to get on and off Industrial Lift Equipment on a regular basis (if operating).
  • Must be comfortable with occasional extreme temperature shifts ranging from very cold to very hot.
  • Must be comfortable with exposure to loud noises and dust.
  • Must be comfortable with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moving equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Process, pack, and ship orders accurately and timely.
  • Utilize RF guns for direction.
  • Kitting and/or combining SKUs may be involved.
  • Maintain inventory of products and help to restock or replenish.
  • Inspect products for damages and report findings to your supervisor.
  • Help maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
  • Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming products.
  • Prepare products for shipping and ensure accuracy against packing slips.
  • Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
