About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Fulfillment Associate working a day shift. The role involves picking, staging, inspecting, and fulfilling customer orders accurately and on time. It requires maintaining clean, organized, and safe staging areas. The associate will deliver excellent customer service by selecting high-quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and directing customers to the appropriate associates when necessary. A key part of the role includes operating and maintaining certification for powered equipment such as Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck, while strictly adhering to all safety requirements. Inventory accuracy is crucial, and the associate will support this through the use of the Orders App, maintaining SIMS compliance, and collaborating with leadership to address any short picks. Additionally, the position involves completing administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks, including audits, order follow-ups, and locker management, as well as promptly reporting any safety or theft concerns. The role emphasizes achieving daily responsibilities with a customer-first mindset, strong communication, and teamwork skills. Other duties may be assigned to support business needs.

Requirements

  • 6 Months of Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
  • 6 Months of Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
  • Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified).

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 Months of Retail experience
  • 6 Months of Experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer in related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden)
  • 6 Months of Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles

Responsibilities
