About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Fulfillment Associate working a day shift. The role involves expanding career possibilities at Lowe's, offering opportunities to learn and grow. The associate will be responsible for picking, staging, inspecting, and fulfilling customer orders accurately and on time, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. A key aspect of the role is delivering excellent customer service by selecting high-quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and directing customers to the appropriate associates when necessary. The position requires operating and maintaining certification for powered equipment such as Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck, adhering to all safety requirements. Inventory accuracy is supported through the use of the Orders App, SIMS compliance, and collaboration with leadership to resolve short picks. Administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks, including audits, order follow-ups, and locker management, must be completed, along with prompt reporting of safety or theft concerns. The associate is expected to achieve daily responsibilities with a customer-first mindset, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills. Other duties may be assigned to support business needs.

Requirements

  • 6 Months of Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
  • 6 Months of Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
  • Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified).

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 Months of Retail experience
  • 6 Months of Experience in a customer service or product fulfillment position at a home improvement or hardware retailer in related department (e.g., kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden)
  • 6 Months of Experience in any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles

Responsibilities

  • Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time, keeping staging areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Deliver excellent service by choosing high quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates when needed.
  • Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment (Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck) and follow all safety requirements.
