Seasonal Fulfillment and Receiving Support Associate, Walt Whitman
About The Position
As a Seasonal Fulfillment and Receiving Support Associate, also known as a Back of House colleague, you support store operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure a smooth customer experience. You receive and organize merchandise, pick and pack orders, retrieve orders from back-of-house storage, and deliver orders curbside. You monitor alerts to ensure Buy Online Pickup In-Store (BOPS) orders are ready on time and help keep the stockroom and sales floor running efficiently. The role includes customer interactions such as warmly greeting shoppers, resolving issues, and delivering curbside orders with care. You contribute to customer satisfaction and store performance through attention to detail, teamwork, operational excellence, hospitality, and support for selling and sales goals. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and a cash register, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Receive, tag, and organize merchandise and maintain an orderly stockroom.
- Pick, pack, retrieve, and complete customer orders, including monitoring alerts so BOPS orders are ready on time.
- Deliver orders curbside to customers with care.
- Greet customers, listen to their needs, resolve issues, and provide helpful service.
- Recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, restock merchandise, and support merchandise moves.
- Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and thank them for their purchase.
- Support teammates through honest, caring, and collaborative service.
- Work toward sales goals, improve daily, and help achieve individual and store results.
- Wrap up the day by organizing the stockroom, completing orders, and preparing the team for the next day.
