City: Cincinatti State: Ohio Fuels at Bureau Veritas North America Position Overview Bureau Veritas Fuels is seeking dedicated professionals to join our dynamic team in roles spanning quality assurance, technical inspection, regulatory compliance, and operational support. This is an excellent opportunity for military service members transitioning to civilian careers through the SkillBridge program. Our Fuels division provides critical testing, inspection, and certification services across the petroleum, biofuels, and alternative energy sectors—ensuring product safety, regulatory compliance, and market access globally.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Active SkillBridge participant or recent military service member
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license (for field-based roles)

Nice To Haves

  • Background in quality control, laboratory operations, or inspection
  • Knowledge of fuel industry standards or petroleum products
  • Technical certification (e.g., API, ASTM, ISO familiarity)
  • Experience with regulatory compliance or auditing
  • Military background in logistics, supply chain, or quality management

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fuel quality testing and analysis per ASTM, ISO, and regulatory standards
  • Document and verify test results; maintain compliance records
  • Support laboratory operations and equipment maintenance
  • Identify and report quality deviations
  • Perform on-site fuel facility inspections and audits
  • Verify adherence to environmental and safety regulations
  • Collect samples and documentation for certification
  • Generate inspection reports and compliance assessments
  • Support certification processes for fuel products and facilities
  • Maintain knowledge of evolving fuel standards and regulations
  • Assist with client inquiries regarding compliance requirements
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies as needed
  • Manage scheduling, logistics, and resource coordination
  • Maintain accurate records and databases
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate across teams to meet client deadlines
