About The Position

The Fuels Reconciliation Analyst provides daily functional support for fuel supply inventory management applications. The role reconciles bills of lading (BOLs) and store inventories, investigates exceptions and warnings, and helps ensure deliveries, supplier contracts, terminal activity, and inventory records are accurate and fully reconciled. The analyst also supports system enhancements, new terminal and supplier setups, and ad hoc projects for the supply team and management.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant work experience is preferred.
• Strong process improvement capabilities and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, project management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work with cross-functional groups.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree (four-year degree) preferred.
• Accounting or three-way match reconciliation process experience preferred.
• Fuel scheduling, fuel transportation, or fuels accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily functional support for fuel supply inventory management applications.
• Perform daily BOL (Bill of Lading) reconciliation and store inventory reconciliation.
• Analyze and review exceptions to ensure unmatched and unreconciled BOLs are accurately and promptly matched and fully reconciled.
• Analyze and review warnings to ensure BOLs are lifted at assigned terminals using the accurate supplier contract.
• Report misloaded BOLs and initiate the correction process.
• Analyze carrier delivery plans to ensure information is accurately provided to support inventory reconciliation.
• Analyze store inventories to ensure tank inventories are represented correctly and outstanding deliveries are reconciled to BOLs.
• Assist with system enhancements and testing new functionalities.
• Assist with responsibilities related to setting up new terminals and suppliers.
• Support the supply team and management with ad hoc projects as needed.
