Northern Oregon Fueling System Technician
About The Position
We're looking for experienced Journeyman Fuel Technicians who take pride in their work and want to grow their careers with a company that recognizes skill, dedication, and continued professional development. A Fuel Technician has a wide variety of skills and will be able to work through difficult problems. This person installs, maintains & repairs fuel dispensers; submersible fuel pumps; service station site controllers; credit card readers; pos systems; tank monitoring equipment; various other types of equipment; various other types of equipment found in service station and convenience gas stations.
Requirements
- Maintenance Technician Experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
- Ability to evaluate objectively, fairly, and consistently.
- Ability to use common tools.
- Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
- Work in a safe manner
- Install troubleshooting and service convenience store networking, including running cable, programming routers, and establishing connectivity to credit networks
- Install, calibrate, test fuel dispenser and associated equipment
- Install, program, and service point of sale systems for convenience stores
- Troubleshoot, repair, and service fuel dispenser and associated equipment
- Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and annual certification of fuel station equipment
- Read, interpret, and follow instructions and operations manuals
- Observe and comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform the job duties in a safe and sensible manner in accordance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
- When necessary, respond to emergency repairs and provide after-hours support needed
- Perform service calls as needed on an after-hours basis
