About The Position

This role is responsible for fueling or defueling aircraft. Key responsibilities include daily equipment inspection and documentation, executing aircraft fueling without delays, performing fuel sampling and quality control, preparing fuel tickets and delivery documents, distributing documentation to airlines, submitting equipment maintenance repair orders, recording meter readings, ensuring equipment is in proper operating condition (calibration, manometer, thermometers, measurement tapes, supply vehicle’s pressure system, hoses, meters, etc.), performing equipment quality control drain and sampling, adhering to SAPS guidelines and JIG requirements, controlling and monitoring transfers of bulk liquid chemicals, performing product transfers to and from tanks, trucks, and pipelines, operating quality control equipment calibration, and applying basic math skills. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma and technical degree.
  • 1 -2 years of experience, referable.
  • Possess/Maintain a valid state Driver's License and other FAA/Airport required identifications and seals.
  • Ability to apply basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, discounts, interest, and percentages.
  • Able to multi-task and be flexible in a dynamic work environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Bilingualism in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and is able to work effectively with people.
  • Good written and verbal communication skill
  • Ability to work under pressure and follow directions.

Responsibilities

  • Daily equipment inspection and documentation report.
  • Executed aircraft fueling timely without delays.
  • Fuel Sampling and quality control registration (B/C test – SWD).
  • E bits Fuel ticket Preparation of slips and other delivery documents.
  • Documentation distribution to all airlines.
  • Deliver Preventive equipment maintenance repair orders to Supervisor.
  • Meter cumulative reading.
  • Ensure Equipment is in proper operating conditions: calibration: manometer, thermometers, measurement tapes, supply vehicle’s pressure system, hoses, meters, etc.
  • Equipment Quality control drain and sampling.
  • SAPS guidelines and JIG requirements adherence.
  • Control and monitor transfers of the various bulk liquid chemicals stored and handled at the facility.
  • Perform product transfers to and from tanks, trucks, and pipelines (direct movements).
  • Operate quality control equipment calibration: thermometers, measurement tapes, hydrometers, etc.
  • Apply basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, discounts, interest, and percentages.
  • Other duties as assigned.
