About The Position

The Fueler oversees refueling vehicles and other machinery to ensure efficiency and timeliness. The role also involves following and enforcing safety policies and regulations among staff to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. The position requires a CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. The Fueler performs equipment fueling, inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, parts ordering, and service-vehicle operation. Work may be performed during the day or night and in varying weather conditions, including heat above 100 degrees, cold, and rain.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 21 years of age.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
Ability to complete work tasks in adverse weather conditions, including heat above 100 degrees, cold, and rain.

Responsibilities

Fuel equipment daily.
Conduct light repairs on all types of equipment as required to maintain proper working conditions.
Perform annual inspections, evaluations, and repairs.
Order parts for mobile and fixed plant equipment.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and services.
Document repairs and inspections as required by company policy or regulation.
Perform mechanical repairs when needed.
Operate service vehicles safely and effectively.
Read and interpret parts and maintenance manuals for equipment.
Perform duties during the day or night in varying weather conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Adhere to and enforce safety policies and regulations among staff.
