About The Position

This role is responsible for distributing and accurately recording gasoline disbursed in vehicles. The Fueler will enter fuel usage data, start vehicles, check fuel gauges, mark vehicles that need fuel, and return to fuel them. They will also report and record Auction gasoline levels, alert management to avoid running out of gasoline, and report inoperable vehicles to their Supervisor or Assistant Manager. Additionally, the Fueler may assist customers in locating vehicles, help with sale day duties, assist in audits of gasoline disbursement, and perform other duties as assigned by management. A strong commitment to safety is essential, demonstrated by following all safety and health procedures and actively participating in safety activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
• OR any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; OR 5 years’ experience in a related field.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and accurately record gasoline disbursed in vehicles.
• Enter fuel usage in AS400 via TC75.
• Start vehicles, check fuel gages, mark vehicles that need fuel, and return to fuel them.
• Report and record Auction gasoline levels and alert proper person to avoid running out of gasoline in main fill area.
• Report inoperable vehicles to Supervisor or Assistant Manager.
• Jump start vehicles and put air in tires if needed.
• Report damage or malfunctioning equipment on vehicles (i.e., pumps, fuel trucks).
• Assist customers in locating vehicles.
• Assist in sale day duties as needed (i.e., drive, act as lane leader, jump start vehicles, etc.).
• Assist in audits of gasoline disbursement when necessary.
• Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
• Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
